Common Bidder Questions
Can I bid if I'm not in the US?
Sure! So long as you have registered with a valid credit card, you can bid from anywhere.
Can I buy a watch that didn't meet the reserve?
For watches that do not meet reserve, the seller receives the high bidder’s contact info upon close of auction as they have won the opportunity to purchase the watch. From there, it is up to the two of them to work out a deal. In cases where reverse is not met, we do not share other user contact info or broker deals after the close of auction.
Can I cancel my bid?
We do not cancel bids on the site. Please be very careful when placing your bid.
Can I contact a seller after an auction has closed?
We do not provide a seller’s contact information after an auction has closed. If you want to be notified when a particular model goes live, you can sign up to receive model page alerts. See question below “What is a Model Page?”.
How can I inspect a watch?
We encourage all potential bidders to inspect a watch prior to placing a bid. If you would like to inspect a watch or have it inspected, you can use the Contact Seller button on the listing to make contact with the seller and arrange an inspection.
Common Seller Questions
Can I bid on my own listing?
Fairness is one of our most important values on UWMW and we have gone to great efforts to develop a system that is transparent and fair to all of our users. We do not allow sellers to bid on their own listing, and any such behavior is strictly prohibited. We have tools in place that monitor bidding and the user accounts from which bids are placed to ensure this doesn’t happen. Additionally, we choose to make each user’s account history public via their user profile.
Can I cancel my auction once it's live?
We do not cancel auctions. We require listings to be exclusive to UWMW during that time with all other ads taken down.
Can I edit my submission?
Once you complete your submission, our Auction Manager will review it and get back to you, typically within 48 hours. There is no way to edit your initial submission, however you will have the opportunity to add more information and photos after the initial correspondence.
Can I lower my reserve?
You are welcome to lower the reserve on your watch at any time during your live auction using the button on the auction page.
Can I relist my watch if it doesn't sell?
Generally speaking we don’t like to re-list a watch if it doesn’t sell. A listing tends to have the most interest when it is fresh to market.
General Questions
How can I change my password?
You can change your password at any time by going to your My Account page and updating the information there.
How can I change my username?
We rarely change usernames except in special circumstances. If you need your username changed, please email us at shipping@uwantmywatch.com and provide us with your requested username along with why you would like it changed.

Can I cancel an order after it's been placed?
